EU-TREE-1-standard means that our partner will plant new one typical European tree after purchasing this product by you. The relevant local gov cert for the new forest is accessible, as issued from a local county in Poland including relevant environment inspection.  You will achieve a relevant PDF certificate and weblink to geo-localization from our planting partner (Posadzimy.pl).

The ecological equivalent which can eco-compensate:

• one person’s flight by plane over a distance of up to 3000 km one way – remember that taking off an airplane consumes the most oxygen and burns the most CO2, so the difference in the cost of the carbon path over short distances is unfortunately small.  Equivalent calculation for a single tree at this distance – the average emission during a regular passenger plane flight is approx. 90g/km per passenger. With a distance of 1000 km, this means 90 kg of CO2 emitted. One planted tree in the forest will trap at least several hundred kilograms of CO2 throughout its life. But it will take a very long time, and moreover, not every tree lives that long, the world needs more than enough ecological action to reverse the trend. Our choice is therefore the equivalent of one planted tree for such a flight.

We will plant 1 (one) tree in the “Posadzimy.pl” program (already over 21,000 trees planted since the beginning of the program in 2019) along with a certificate of the environmental protection inspection and a PDF certificate from the Posadzimy.pl website.

Remember – of course you can always buy individual tree plantings directly in the Posadzimy.pl program.

Regarding EU legal frames you have 14 days to take any decision of potential return, so we will send you PDF certificates of starting to prepare planting tree(s) only after these 14 days have passed. REMEMBER – you can always resign from this possibility of FREE RETURNS to plant your trees asap and get your cert. If you want to have the cert asap (so you have to resign from tese 14 days), please mention about it in the field “Note” during check-out form or simply later in email as correspondence with us.
